Caramel Swirl

Hi everyone,

While it may be the calm after a storm, the shopping frenzy isn’t over with it being Cyber Monday today! What’s in your shopping bag this morning?

I don’t know about you, but layering becomes my best friend when it comes to tackling the biting winter weather. There is no better thing than having the option of peeling off pieces when it gets too warm while commuting via public transit.

Since sharing my top 10 coveted coats a few of weeks ago, I’ve bought three two coats (returned one after realizing three was a little excessive). I can’t wait to share them on the blog soon!

Before my little coat splurge, I’ve been wearing this vintage camel coat on repeat. Aside from my love of its oversized style, this lightweight coat makes for the perfect outerwear to layer over a knit cardigan (for that extra lining of warmth) without looking too bulky overall. Cumbersome down jackets are just impractical when one is hopping from one train to the next. Top it off with a blanket scarf and I’m ready to take on Mother Nature’s harshest winds in style.

Add a statement piece in fall’s favourite hues (oxblood or burgundy are great colours!) to a relatively neutral palette like my outfit for the perfect pop of colour!
